About me
Amy is a double board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner with specialized certifications in psychedelic-assisted therapy. She offers a compassionate, integrative, and trauma-informed approach to healing, combining her personal experience as a trauma survivor with her extensive professional training. Amy is passionate about helping individuals transform and thrive, using a unique blend of medicine and therapy tailored to each person's needs.
Amy’s journey in healthcare began as a registered nurse, but after witnessing the limitations of traditional medicine in fostering true healing, she transitioned into psychiatric and family nurse practitioner roles. Her profound personal healing experiences with psychedelics inspired her to pursue specialized training in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, MDMA-assisted therapy, and other psychedelic modalities. In 2023, Amy completed a fellowship in psychedelic-assisted therapy through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, deepening her commitment to helping others achieve lasting wellness through these transformative treatments.
As co-founder of Transcendelic and the founder of Phoenix Era Wellness, Amy provides ketamine-assisted therapy, psychotropic management, and psychotherapy in both clinical and retreat settings. She serves patients in California, Illinois, and New Mexico, offering telehealth services and in-person care, particularly for those dealing with ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and substance use. Amy’s expertise lies in creating personalized, holistic care plans that honor the mind-body connection, integrating both progressive and traditional therapeutic approaches.
Deeply committed to social justice and equity, Amy regularly offers free healthcare to underserved communities. She draws inspiration from Indigenous psychedelic traditions, her patients, teachers, and loved ones. Known for her warmth, wisdom, and ability to create a safe, welcoming environment, Amy is dedicated to helping others discover their highest selves and live more fulfilled lives.
